Meriem joined Ethos Africa in September 2021 as a Partner to support the next growth phase of the fund. Meriem has 20+ years of combined Private Equity and Investment Banking/M&A experience in blue chip institutions with a focus on emerging markets, particularly Africa and Asia Pacific. Meriem is an experienced negotiator and deal maker who led transactions through the whole deal life cycle across various sectors, with board room experience and strong C-suite network.
Before joining Ethos, Meriem was Global Head of Private Equity coverage at Natixis, and previously Investment professional at both Actis Africa team and Kerogen capital Private Equity firm in Asia. Meriem started her career in 2001 in the Investment Banking department of Salomon Smith Barney / Citi London office. Meriem holds an MSc in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics & Political Sciences. She is born and brought up in Tunisia and speaks fluent Arabic, French, and English.
